Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption
Maximum Tolerable Period of Disruption (MTPD) is defined by ISO 22301 as: “Time it would take for adverse impacts, which might arise as a result of not providing a product/service or performing an activity, to become unacceptable”
Abriska can be configured to utilise alternative terminology for MTPD e.g. MAO - Maximum Acceptable Outage. The operation of Abriska will be the same regardless of the terminology used.
Abriska determines the MTPD for non-critical activities by using the organisation's threshold for each impact that is defined against the activity. A graphical presentation of this is shown below. The MTPD must be manually entered if an activity is critical.
